CNC machine tools have become the mainstream of machine tool consumption.

The continuous investment in major scientific and technological projects for high-end CNC machine tools and basic manufacturing equipment since 2009 demonstrates the government's determination to develop high-end CNC machine tools and basic manufacturing equipment. During the 12th Five Year Plan period, China will continue to invest and increase its efforts, with major special projects driving investment of over 10 billion yuan annually.

International Model Association Secretary General Luo Baihui stated that under the background of economic development, strong support from national policies, and revitalization of upstream and downstream industries, the strong demand for China's CNC machine tool industry will continue to grow rapidly, especially high-end CNC machine tools will usher in greater market space. In the next 3-5 years, the market growth rate of China's CNC machine tool industry will reach about 12%. This will undoubtedly drive the market development of domestically produced CNC machine tools, CNC systems, and related functional components in China, and undoubtedly provide excellent opportunities for domestic CNC system manufacturers to continuously develop their own technologies and expand their markets.

Looking ahead to the 12th Five Year Plan, China's development of CNC machine tools will strive to solve problems such as large but weak mainframes, lagging development of CNC systems and functional components, large gaps in key technologies of high-end CNC machine tools, low product quality stability, and poor overall economic benefits of the industry. We will elevate the cultivation of core competitiveness, independent innovation, quantitative integration, and brand building to a strategic level, and achieve the goal of a total industrial output value of 800 billion yuan. And strive to achieve a series of medium and long-term goals, such as transforming from a major producer of machine tools to a strong country in machine tool manufacturing within 10-15 years, and achieving a dominant position in the domestic market for domestically produced high-end CNC machine tools.
